Opening times, visitor policies and admission fees
The Cultural Heritage of Barumini can be visited every day of the year by purchasing the entrance ticket at a single and convenient rate that allows you to visit the three structures:
Su Nuraxi, Casa Zapata and the Centre Giovanni Lilliu.
Those interested only in the temporary exhibitions inside the Centre for Communication and Promotion of Cultural Heritage"Giovanni Lilliu" can visit them by purchasing the dedicated ticket.
VISITOR POLICIES
"Su Nuraxi" archaeological area, "Casa Zapata" Museum and the Centre "Giovanni Lilliu" can be visited
through a guided tour included in the price of the ticket.
With the entry into force of the
D.L. 24 March 2022, which establishes the end of the state of emergency, from the 1st of April 2022 for the admission to "Su Nuraxi di Barumini" Archaeological Area, "Casa Zapata" Museum and the Center "Giovanni Lilliu" the possession of the Green Pass is no more required (neither reinforced nor basic).
Hand sanitizing liquid dispensers are available to visitors in all our areas.
During the stay in our sites, in the reception areas, in the points of sale and during the guided tours
it is mandatory to wear a mask to cover the nose and mouth.
In particular:
Su Nuraxi Archaeological Area is open to the public every day of the year and, as per ministerial provisions, can only be visited
accompanied by a guide. Guided tours depart every half hour and last about 1 hour.
In adverse weather conditions that do not allow the visits to be carried out in total safety, the archaeological area may be temporarily not accessible.
Considering that the visit takes place for most of its duration outdoors, we recommend comfortable and sporty clothing and in particular:
- in the hot season, the use of caps, sunscreen and water;
- in the cold season, the use of raincoats and non-slip shoes.
Casa Zapata Museum is completely accessible and can be visited every day of the year and in all weather conditions, accompanied by a guide, at no additional cost. Guided tours depart every half hour and last about 1 hour.
The
Centre Giovanni Lilliu is completely accessible and can be visited every day of the year and in all weather conditions, accompanied by a guide, at no additional cost. Guided tours depart every half hour and last about 1 hour.
Reservations are recommended for groups or school groups.

In the three structures (Su Nuraxi, Casa Zapata, Centre Giovanni Lilliu) animals are not allowed, with the exception of guide dogs in "Casa Zapata" Museum and in the Centre "Giovanni Lilliu".

The Barumini Sistema Cultura Foundation has stipulated a series of agreements that allow, by taking advantage of a reduced rate, to visit the Barumini Heritage in combination with other cultural sites.
- BARUMINI AND BOTANICAL GARDEN: Reduced admission to the Botanical Garden of Cagliari upon presentation of the entrance ticket to the sites of Barumini, together with the Botanical Garden it is possible to visit the Botanical Museum and the Bank of the Germplasm of Sardinia;
- BARUMINI AND NURAGHE ARRUBIU DI ORROLI: Reduced admission to the "Nuraghe Arrubiu" of Orroli upon presentation of the entrance ticket to the sites of Barumini;
- BARUMINI AND SANTA VITTORIA DI SERRI: Reduced admission to the Nuragic Sanctuary "Santa Vittoria" of Serri upon presentation of the entrance ticket to the sites of Barumini;
- BARUMINI AND ORROLI / SERRI / GONI: Reduced rate admission to the "Nuraghe Arrubiu" of Orroli - to the Nuragic Sanctuary "Santa Vittoria" of Serri - to the "Pranu Muttedu" Archaeological Park of Goni upon presentation of the entrance ticket to the sites of Barumini.
