Giovanni Lilliu – Stratigraphies of a life

DAL 23/09/2015 AL 23/09/2016 The exhibition “Giovanni Lilliu – Stratigrafie di una vita” (Giovanni Lilliu – Stratigraphies of a life), organized by the Municipality of Barumini and the Fondazione Barumini Sistema Cultura, in collaboration with the Regional Institute of Ethnography and Lilliu’s family, introduces in an unprecedented path of knowledge of the complex figure of the emeritus Professor. However, the collection of photos and documents, divided into five sections (Private Life, Archaeology, University and Sardinian language, Political and institutional experience) is the first stage of the realization, in the Professor Lilliu’s birthplace, of a Permanent Documentation Center where the organic copious production of documents, texts, documents and archival photos related to the intense and long activity of the Professor will be placed. Part of the showing, inaugurated on the 12th July 2013 and open until the 13th March 2013, is still open all days of the year from 10.00 to 20.00 at the Centre for Comunication and Promotion of Cultural Heritage “Giovanni Lilliu”.
